![]() ![]() Back in the day, when Steve took it, it made him strong and pretty unstoppable, but it didn’t change him at all, but when Walker took the serum, though it made him strong and unstoppable against the modern super soldiers, it made him more violent and dangerous! During a battle, his partner Lemar is killed, and this set Walker to a whole new level of fighting he chased down a member of the Flag Smashers and does something that many witnesses recorded – killing the Flag Smasher with the shield! It was a shocking scene to watch as again, it was another thing Steve Rogers would never have done. It was interesting how the serum came back after so many years and how it affects people nowadays. He even finds himself fighting against the Dora Milaje from Wakanda and he was really embarrassed getting beaten up badly and spoke with his partner Lemar Hoskins AKA Battlestar! He was speaking about how things would be if he had the Super Solider serum. Walker also tends to do things his way as he feels he knows best for instance, in episode 4, he tries to get hold of Karli Morgenthau to arrest her, but of course, he fails. #NotM圜aptain John Walker and his partner Lemar Hoskins AKA BattlestarĪs the episodes progressed, we see more of a bad side to Walker while on a mission, Walker got spat on by someone and with a fit of anger, he used the shield and pinned the man to a wall! This was shocking to see as Steve would never have done something like that, no matter how angry he was. His arrogance was shown again in the end when he meets up with the duo again to try to get them to work with them, but when they refuse, the line he says to them isĪfter he said that, that’s when I changed my mind about Walker and didn’t like him at all again. Walker’s arrogance got in the way when he referred to Sam and Bucky as “Cap’s wingmen”, which indicates he clearly sees the duo as Cap’s sidekicks, which was a little silly as Sam and Bucky have been on the field with all these superpowered foes, yet Walker hasn’t, and Walker missed a trick as he could learn a few things from Sam and Bucky, but his arrogance gets in the way, thinking he can deal with anything now he has a new title. It would be a lot easier if I had Cap’s wingmen by my side.” I just want to be the best Captain America I can be, that’s it. It was clear he was trying to be an ally to the duo and trying to be friendly, and though it was nice seeing more of Walker’s soft and friendly side, his arrogance got in the way a little this was due to him trying again to befriend the duo when he says I also liked how he said he’s got big shoes to fill, knowing that he’ll never be like Steve Rogers, but being the best Captain America he can be, which is what he tries to explain to Sam and Bucky when he meets them for the first time and his first time in action. However, episode 2 saw the new Captain in his first proper appearance and honestly, I warmed up to him in the second episode at the very beginning when he was introduced and more of his backstory as a solider was shown, as well as his training with the shield. I was a little disappointed too, as Steve himself chose Sam by giving him the shield, and the least the government could have done was respect his decision, but when they didn’t call Sam, I was wondering if the government had a problem with a black Captain America. Many fans, myself included, took to social media, many saying they didn’t like it already and that the new hero will never live up to the original Captain America Steve Rogers. It was a shock for both the characters and the fans watching. This was due to Sam giving the shield back where it was put on display, but at the end of episode 1, it was announced that the shield was given to John Walker. It’s been a great series so far and the episodes keep getting better and better, and it’s even introduced a few new characters, one of them being John Walker AKA the new Captain America! Now, John Walker was introduced at the end of the first episode as the new Captain America. Out of all the shows announced Marvel wise, this was the one I was looking forward to ever since Sam AKA Falcon, got the shield at the end of Avengers: Endgame. WandaVision I’ve seen already, but now, I’ve been loving Falcon and the Winter Soldier. For me, I’ve been using it to watch most of the new Marvel shows. My sister loves it as she now has the chance to see the films she’s never seen. ![]() Recently decided to get Disney+ and all the films and tv shows they’ve got is amazing. Been watching a lot of TV, but also doing home workouts and reading. I’ve been home since Christmas and it’s nice being with family. Hopefully, somewhere this year, Covid will be beaten and the world can slowly get back to normal. ![]() It’s nice that a few things like pubs, hairdressers, barbers and other locations have reopened, and it’s nice to hear that many have taken jabs for the first time. ![]()
